So my persuasion techniques worked and now you're reading my first blog post!
Welcome! I wanted this post to be short and sweet, just enough so you get an idea about who I am and what I'm doing starting a blog. Secondly you're going to find out what this blog is really going to be about!
So, who am I. I'm a medivac advanced care paramedic in Canada. I've been involved in EMS for nearly 7 years, working everything from medical stand by at the Calgary Stampede to working on a safety team for a pipeline company. On top of the Medical jobs I have been through, I taught and mentored Countless EMS students.
So why am I writing a blog? Long story short, I became a father to a little girl a few months ago. To be able to give her everything she deserves I had to give up 2 of the 3 jobs I held. (Classic paramedic mentality to think it's smart to have 3 jobs). The two jobs I quit were my teaching jobs and honestly my true passion before fatherhood. This blog is my way of getting back into teaching EMS.
